Terms and Conditions

Who we are

The 20th International Workshop on Semantic and Social Media Adaptation and Personalization (SMAP 2025) is co-organized by the University of the Peloponnese/Knowledge and Uncertainty Research Laboratory, Greek Computer Society (EPY/GCS), and University of West Attica/Department of Informatics and Computer Engineering. Methods of payment

SMAP 2025 registration payments are supported by the Greek Computer Society (EPY/GCS), 20 Spyrou Trikoupis Str., Athens 106 83, Tel. +302155051398, email: epy@epy.gr.

Payments can be made either by bank transfer or secure online credit card:

A bank transfer payment must be confirmed manually by the organization chairs in order for papers to be included in the proceedings and receipt/invoice to be issued. Secure online credit card payments will be automatically confirmed.

Secure Transactions

All payments made using the card are processed through the electronic payment platform of “Nexi e-Commerce” of Nexi Payments Greece S.A. and uses TLS 1.2 encryption protocol encryption with 128-bit (Secure Sockets Layer – SSL). Encryption is a way of coding the information until it reaches its recipient, who will be able to decode it using the appropriate key.

Cancellation & refunds

Any cancellation of registration must be notified by e-mail to the General Chair. The following cancellation policies will apply:

  • Cancellation before September 15th, 2025 – full refund
  • Cancellation on or after September 15th, 2025 – no refund.

Privacy Policy

All data submitted during SMAP 2025 registration process is used only to process your registration and as a result we do not collect or store any personal information. Moreover, we do not share any of your details with other companies/organizations/web-sites.

The 20th International Workshop on Semantic and Social Media Adaptation and Personalization (SMAP 2025) will be held in Mystras, Greece on November 27-28, 2025, will be technically co-sponsored by the IEEE Computational Intelligence Society (CIS), and will be co-organized by the University of the Peloponnese/Knowledge and Uncertainty Research Laboratory, Greek Computer Society (EPY/GCS), and University of West Attica/Department of Informatics and Computer Engineering.
